Inniskillin
After a deep sleep for almost 50 years, the Canadian wine industry
has experienced a dramatic rebirth over the last two decades. The
Niagara Peninsula and Okanagan Valley wines express the styles and
flavours of the major grape varietals grown in these regions. From
Chardonnays and Rieslings to Pinot Grigio and Pinot Blanc, Canadian
whites have also assumed their rightful place at the global dinner
table.
When Inniskillin first won the coveted Grand Prix d'Honneur at
Vinexpo in Bordeaux, France for its 1989 Icewine, the seal of international
approval for the bounty of Canadian viticulture was guaranteed.
Canada's Niagara Peninsula in Ontario is considered a cool climate
viticulture region, like Burgundy, Germany, Oregon and New Zealand.
These regions are ideally suited for the growing of Chardonnay,
Pinot Noir and Riesling as well as Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet
Franc, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc, Viognier, Chenin Blanc
and Icewine. Quality Pinot Noir such as Inniskillin's Reserve Pinot
Noir is best created under the cool climate conditions the Niagara
Peninsula affords, where its elegance and finesse can find proper
expression.

Caymus Vineyards
Founded in 1972 by Charles Wagner, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner and
their son Charles J. (Chuck) Wagner on the family's Rutherford property.
The Wagners took the name Caymus from the Mexican land grant known
as Rancho Caymus, given to George Yount in 1836, which included
what eventually became the town of Rutherford and much of the surrounding
area. (Caymus was also the name of a subgroup of Mishewal-Wappo
Indians whose village was north of what is now the town of Yountville.)
The winery's 60-plus acres of estate Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley's
Rutherford District continue to form the foundation of Caymus Cabernets.
Caymus also purchases grapes from carefully selected Napa Valley growers
who have had a long-term association with the winery.

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is a private Napa Valley estate that
has been owned by the Winiarski family since establishing the winery
in 1972 in what is now known as the Stags Leap District. The winery
is best known for its three estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignons; CASK
23, S.L.V. and FAY, which is among the most highly, regarded Cabernets
in the world.
The winery was known only in the Napa Valley until the now-famous
1976 Paris Tasting, when Winiarski's 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon, the
first wine produced at the new winery, bested four top-ranked Bordeaux
entries, including first-growths Château Mouton-Rothschild and
Château Haut-Brion. The tasting landed Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
squarely among the ranks of the world's most noteworthy Cabernet producers
and placed Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars among the ranks of world's
most respected winemakers.

Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain, Diamond Mountainand the Rutherford
Bench express some of Napa Valley's most prestigious vineyards.
Each Lokoya wine is identified with the terroir of its mountain
vineyard. Sparse soils, high elevations, good drainage and the cool
climates of the mountains and benches form the backbone for intense
Cabernet Sauvignon. Their goal is to choose sites, lots, and even
rows of vines which will express the terroir and identity of their

Kendall Jackson
Founder Jess Jackson spent nearly a decade developing his own
style for wine before opening Kendall-Jackson winery in 1982. His
passion and vision have grown Kendall-Jackson into one of the premier
family-owned wineries in California.
From the beginning, Jess abandoned the conventional wisdom of the
day, which emphasized making wines from a single vineyard, and sourced
premium grapes from vineyards located throughout California's cool
coastal regions.
He firmly believed that a wine that emphasized the superior qualities
found in each coastal location would be more flavorful and complex
than single vineyard designates. The result was an exceptional Chardonnay
that had a unique blend of wine grown in Santa Barbara, Monterey,
Sonoma and Lake Counties . . . and Vintner’s Reserve was born.
Today, Kendall-Jackson is California’s most awarded winery,
and its wines are enjoyed around the world. But perhaps most importantly,
Kendall-Jackson remains family-owned, with its roots firmly planted
in the family vineyards.

Marimar Torres
Marimar Torres has been involved in the wine business all her life.
Prior to directing the self named estate in Sonoma, Marimar traveled
extensively promoting Torres wines, first in Spain as the company’s
export director and later in North America, when California became
her home in 1975. At that time she became the best-known ambassador
of Spanish wines in America.
In 1986, Marimar began planting the Don Miguel Vineyard (named after
her late father), a 56-acre property in Sonoma County’s Russian
River/Green Valley, a cool microclimate ideally suited to Chardonnay
and Pinot Noir. Today the vineyard encompasses 81 acres, of which
30 are planted with Chardonnay and 30 with Pinot Noir. Another 20
acres of a new property in the Freestone Valley ( Sonoma Coast) are

| Santa Digna - Torres
Torres could not be absent in Latin America, most especially in
the country of viticulture par excellence. Chile is a viticultural
paradise, in part thanks to its location, within the same sort of
latitudes as the European viticultural equivalents. Its geography,
its soils and its remarkable absence of Phylloxera make it a very
sought after location by winemakers the world over.
Torres recognised these virtues before any other European company
dared compete or invest in Chile. Today, more than two decades after
its first discoveries, Torres produces some of its best and most prized
wines in Chile.
