Masterclass B
Presented by Wine Educator, Tan Ying Hsien
Italian and Spanish Renaissance
3.00pm to 4.00pm
Brief
Italian and Spanish wines once enjoyed a high reputation with some wines from these countries fetching higher prices than wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy in the past. Unfortunately, this past glory and reputation faded during the 20th century, but in the past 25 years or so there has been a resurgence of top class wine-making by innovative and forward looking wine estates. The Italian and Spanish Renaissance tasting will examine modern Italian and Spanish wines that exemplify this resurgence of quality and reputation.
